Table 3 The weight rating of the results.
Figure 3 Analysis of the normal distribution of the error of the
results of testing the strength of the weld.
Figure 3 Analysis of the normal distribution
When the testing strength of the weld data was analyzed and
plot with the distribution of the error, the data distributed along a
straight line was estimated that was normally distributed.
Table 4 Test the strength of the weld.
The results response variables of the strength test of the weld
showed that the main factor was the power voltage of 4 spring area of overlap
and size of welding wire. They influenced of the strength of the weld.
- The amount of power at 45 amps was the best condition to test
the strength of the weld.
- The best condition of the pressure spring was at the level 60 daN
- 0.9 mm in the area overlap areas of overlap at the overlapping
area of the weld strength will rise as the area of overlap.
- The size of the wire affect the strength of the weld to increase
the size of the welding wire. It was found that the size of the welding wire is
2.08 mm.
This variable response has been test the strength of the weld to
suggest the optimal conditions for the canned food to the strength of the welds
are to a great extent, the amount of current. 55 amp electrical voltage spring 60
daN areas of overlap and the size of 0.7 mm to 2.10 mm wire.
Evaluation criteria used to score the highest points total of the
four test results is to test the strength of the weld. Testing of the weld
interface. To test the width of the weld. And the elongation of the welds. The
optimum conditions in the canned food conditions in the 26 is
1. Factor A (+): 55 amps of electricity.
2. Factor B (0): the pressure spring 60 daN.
3. Factor C (0): the space of 0.7 mm overlap.
4. Factor D (+): the wire size of 2.10 mm.
The results were weigh as follows.
Test the strength of the weld was 10 points.
Test results, the coordination of the weld to be 9 points.
Test area of overlap is 10 points.
Elongation of the test welds to 9 points.
Table 5 compares the average test results.
