8 <strong>Qshell</strong> <strong>Interpreter</strong> (<strong>qsh</strong>)<br />
To improve the performance of <strong>qsh</strong>, you can:<br />
v Enable prestart jobs in the subsystem where <strong>qsh</strong> is running. When <strong>qsh</strong> starts a<br />
new process, it will use a prestart job if it is available and the variable<br />
QSH_USE_PRESTART_JOBS=Y. You can enable prestart jobs in the QINTER<br />
subsytem using this CL command:
