thoroughly familiar with the NATURAL 2 environment
and programming language. Concentrates on advanced
programming techniques, and demonstrates innovative

on-site. Prerequisites: NATURAL 2 Intermediate Pro-
gramming or NATURAL 2 Programming Enhance-
ments, Parts I and 11.

NATURAL Security System: A one-day course which
provides Security Administrators with a comprehen-
sive view of the NATURAL Security System (NSS).
Covers the full security environment provided by NSS,
a practical procedure for students to design their own
security environment, and use of the maintenance tools
provided in NSS. All Security Administrators will
benefit from this course. Experience in managing the
NATURAL environment or maintaining a security

NATURAL Administration: A four-day course which
presents NATURAL system information useful in the
effective management of the NATURAL environment.
Topics include logical system file usage, installation
options including related sub-systems, and buffer pool
management. $1,400 public; $11,000 on-site. Prerequi-
sites: ADABAS Fundamentals and NATURAL 2 Pro-
gramming Fundamentals.

SPL's Fourth Generation System Design: This five-day
course examines system design with a practical per-
spective of needs and techniques, designer objectives
and responsibilities, and deep understanding of all the
factors involved in designing systems. Offered by Sys-
tems Programming Ltd. through Software AG. SPL is
experienced in system design and familiar with fourth
generation language tools. $1,500 public. Prerequisite:
No technical expertise is required; however, three years
of data processing experience in analysis, program-
ming, and design are useful.
