<strong>Standard</strong> <strong>Bus</strong> <strong>Procurement</strong> <strong>Guidelines</strong><br />
(a) Delivery and acceptance of all Contract<br />
deliverables, including manuals and other<br />
documentation required by the Contract,<br />
excluding training.<br />
(b) Rectification of any deficiencies found<br />
during the acceptance of buses.<br />
(c) Contractor provision of any certifications<br />
as required by law and/or regulations.<br />
(d) Completion of post delivery audits<br />
required under the Contract.<br />
Progress payments requests shall be ac<strong>com</strong>panied by a<br />
certification, or affidavit, signed by the Contractor's<br />
officer certifying that the work covered by the progress<br />
payment requested has been <strong>com</strong>pleted. The Procuring<br />
Agency reserves the rights of inspection and audit to<br />
verify said progress as provided in "Audit and Inspection<br />
of Records" (Section 2.6) and Part 3.<br />
(Include the following provision if there is no applicable prompt payment law or regulation.) - The<br />
Procuring Agency shall pay to the Contractor interest daily on the balance of any payments due, as<br />
specified above, at the prime rate of interest published by the Wall Street Journal, beginning 30<br />
(thirty) days after payments are due.<br />
2.5 SERVICE AND PARTS<br />
2.5.1 TRAINING<br />
(The following is illustrative; the Procuring Agency should carefully specify its requirements)<br />
The Contractor shall have at least one qualified instructor who shall be available at the Procuring<br />
Agency's property for (number of days per month) calendar days between the hours of (starting time)<br />
and (closing time) per month for (number) months prior to, and (number) months after, acceptance of<br />
the first bus. Instructor(s) shall conduct schools and advise the personnel of the Procuring Agency on<br />
the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment. The Contractor shall also provide visual and<br />
other teaching aids for use by the Procuring Agency's own training staff.<br />
2.5.2 ENGINEER / SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES<br />
The Contractor shall, at its own expense, have a <strong>com</strong>petent engineering service representative(s)<br />
available on request to assist the Procuring Agency's staff in the solution of engineering or design<br />
