The ClearWELL device induces a highfrequency
AC signal throughout the conduit
system of a well, regardless of the flow
direction, causing paraffin to precipitate in the
fluid flow and be carried away rather than
adhering to the walls of tubing, flowlines, and
pipelines.
This pig, pulled after a flowline run postinstallation
of the ClearWELL device, showed
considerably less paraffin than the operator had
expected.
