XOLB inks are high opacity multi-purpose inks 

designed for thin film opaque printing. The 

smooth creamy consistency leaves an even 

uniform color on white flash bases and can be 

opaque on black without a white base with 

screens as fine as 160 mesh. XOLB inks are 

fast flashing, cure with a non-tack surface, and 

contain clean bright pigments.

FREE PRINTING INKS 

A user friendly, water soluble ink made of heat setting 

binder and pigment. Water base inks penetrate the 

fabric surface coating individual fibers with a thin film. 

The finish (non-glossy) is soft to the hand, taking on 

the feel of the garment itself. The printed surface 

opens with the weave when stretched. With washing, 

water base will soften. W B Series inks are very low 

in solvents and meet South Coast Air Quality requirements.

RB Series Textile Screen Printing Ink 

PVC FREE 

General Characteristics: Simulated Plastisol Ink 

DESCRIPTION: RB Textile Inks are rubber based, water borne 

PVC Free inks that simulate Plastisol inks in hand and opacity. 

They are tough, high performance printing inks that can be used 

for coating or screen printing on textiles and also on substrates 

such as wood, plastic, metal, concrete, paper, rubber and leather. 

It produces a flexible, glossy, high opacity coating. They clean up 

and can be thinned with plain water. 

APPLICATIONS: General purpose textile screen printing. 

Works very well for athletic garment printing providing an incredible 

stretch and bonding characteristics. Unlike standard water 

base screen print inks, these inks lay on the surface providing a 

plastisol look and feel. Printing on dark fabrics results in good 

opacity and true color brilliance. Screen open time is very good. 

FEATURES: Available in 39 bright, opaque standard colors. An 

RBX Color Matching System is also available with 16 base and 

color components. These inks are PVC Free and meet or exceed 

California standards (certifiable). They have long open times in 

the screen and exhibit a creamy, smooth print ability. Cleans up 

with plain water. 

PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS: 

MESH: 110 to 200 tpi monofilament 

STENCIL: A water resistant emulsion or film is required as well 

as water resist blockout. 

CURING: These inks will air dry to a full cure within 24 hours 

making them suitable for many substrates that cannot endure high 

temp curing. They will dry to the touch without heat in about 45 

minutes. If heat curing is desired we recommend 300 0 F for 45-90 

seconds or 200 0 F for 1-2 minutes. 

CLEAN-UP: Clean up using water. CAUTION! This is a dry 

product! It will dry in the screen if left unattended. Always 

flood the screen to minimize drying in and keep at least one pint of 

ink on the screen at all times.

RUTLAND PVC-FREE WATER-BASED INK SYSTEM 

Rutland, in an effort to provide the industry with an environmentally friendly printing solution, 

has developed one of the best color matching water-based systems offered in today’s market. 

WB-99 PVC FREE WATER-BASE PIGMENT MIXING SYSTEM 

WB-99 is a high performance PVC Free Pigment mixing system for 100% cotton light 

fabrics or dark fabrics when using the discharge process. This mixing system allows 

the printer to mix thousands of colors using formulas from the M2007 Ink Mixing 

software. WB-99 Pigments are vibrant to give the most brilliant color matches. When 

combined with the WB0249 General Purpose Base, prints with extremely soft feel at a 

low cost on white fabrics. WB0249 General Purpose Base requires longer cure times, 

up to 3 minutes depending on your dryer configuration. Combine with the WB0248 

Quick Cure Base for faster production demands when printing on 100% cotton lights. 

Combine with WE0255 Discharge Base and activate with WB0259 Discharge Agent to 

print on 100% cotton darks. 

WB0248 QUICK CURE BASE 

This base is to be used with WB-99 pigments. Mix pigments at up to 10% by weight 

to create colors. 

WB0249 GENERAL PURPOSE BASE 

WB0249 base is used with WB-99 pigments. Mix pigments at up to 10% by weight 

to create colors. General Purpose Base will not cure as quickly as the Quick Cure 

Base, so take this into account when adding WB-99 PS pigments. Any mixture made 

using the General Purpose Base should be tested prior to production. WB0249 General 

Purpose Base is less expensive than the other bases. 

WB0255 DISCHARGE BASE 

Discharge base is used with pigments. Mix pigments at up to 10% by weight to create 

dischargeable colors. Test all color mixes for suitability piror to mixing production 

quantities. User must add 3% to 6% by weight of WB0259 Discharge Agent to activate 

this base. Only activate enough product to run 3 to 4 hours. The additive should 

be mixed into the base with a high speed drill or homogenizer. 

WB9067 DISCHARGE WHITE PLUS 

Discharge White Plus is used as an underlay or stand alone white to enhance the 

brilliance of colors where garments are not completely discharging. User must add 

3% to 6% by weight of WB0259 Discharge Agent to activate the white. Only activate 

enough product to run 3 to 4 hours. The additive should be mixed into the base with 

a high speed drill and or a homogenizer.

WB0259 DISCHARGE AGENT 

Use from 3% to 6% by weight to activate the WB0255 Discharge Base or the 

WB9067 Discharge White Plus. 

WB0256 LOW CROCK BINDER 

This may be added to heavily saturated colors to improve Crock resistance. WB-99 

will normally pass industry Crock test standards as is. WB-99 colors will have better 

crock results after the print ages 24 hours or more. Low Crock Binder would typically 

be added to other pigment systems when using WB-99 bases. Add up to 10% 

by weight of the Low Crock Binder to improve pigment crock test results. 

WB0257 PENETRANT 

WB0257 is added to WB-99 inks at up to 5% by weight to provide better penetration 

into certain fabrics thereby giving a softer feel. 

WB0258 LUBRICANT 

Add WB0258 at up to 5% by weight to provide more open time of the wet ink to 

prevent drying in the screens. 

WB0510 THICKENER 

Used at 1/2 to 1% by weight to increase viscosity of WB-99 ink. This would lead to 

an increase in opacity, but will increase the hand of the print. 

WB0277 JB SOFT CRACK NATURAL 

WB0277 creates a soft cracked vintage look on 100% cotton light or dark fabrics. 

Mix up to 30% WB99 PS pigments by weight to create colors. WB0277 must be 

cured properly to achieve the cracked vintage look.

any methylene chloride, perchloroethylene or any other chemical 

requiring a cancer warning. It completely removes all cured ink

MYSTIC TM CLEANING GUN (TROUBLESHOOTING) 

This tough, dependable and durable cleaninggun is designed tohandle the strongest of solvents. Metal handle reduces risk of breaking if dropped. Factory 

authorized replacement parts and repairservice readily available, usuallywithin 48 hours, 110 Volt/6C Cycle A.C. 

CAUTION: The gun builds up considerable pressure. Never point the gun at yourself or other persons, as this may cause injury. 

The Mystic Cleaning Gun is preset at the factory and adjustments are generally not required. 

Removethe container, fill with fluid (about 2/3 full) and replace. Plug gun into a 11OV 60Hz outlet. Depress switch for 15- 20 seconds to prime pump. Spray fluid 

onto scrap fabric to remove oil film from internal pump parts. MYSTIC Spray gun is now ready for use. 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

1 ) THE ADJUSTING ROLLER ON TOP OF THE GUN controls the degree of atomization of fluid when not equipped with an adjustabIe nozzle. Approximate setting 

for maximum pressure for textile or screen cleaning is at a point where 1/ 8" clearance is visible between rear of air intake and forward extremity of housing (#1 ). 

The set screw (#24) on the left- hand sideof the barrel must be removed BEFORE attempting to move the ADJUSTING ROLLER. 

2) VOLUME CONTROL KNOB AT REAR OF GUN controls the volume of fluid dispensed. For textile cleaning, turn button as far left as possible; then, back to right 1/ 

2 to 1 revolution. Once adjustments are made to satisfactory pressure and volume setting; it is not generally necessary to change them. 

TROUBLE SHOOTING MINOR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS 

Some of the cleaning guns returned for repairs are found to be out of adjustment atthe adjustable roller or volume control; or, have simply had minor mechanical 

difficulties which could have been easily taken care of by plant electricians.Some troubleshootingproblems and causes are listed below: 

1)FLUID LEAKAGE 

It is necessary that all parts, particularly the nozzle head, be tight to prevent fluid working its way through the screws threads. Cleaning should also be done at an 

angle no greater than 45 o to prevent leakage from the air hole at the top of the gun. Leakage will also occur at the screw threads of the container cup if it is tilted 

forward for an extended period. 

2) LACK OF PRESSURE 

The primary cause of lack of pressure occurs when the suction tube set screw, and nozzle head are not tight and the unit is sucking air. Blockage in the pump unit 

or nozzle and weak/damaged springs in the pump assembly are also a cause of low pressure. A lack of pressure will also occur when the primer is lost due to 

excessive tilting ofthe gun. 

3) OPERATION WITHOUT FLUID 

It is highly recommended that this unit not be operated empty since undue wear and strain is caused on all working parts. Continued use of an empty gunwiIl surely 

cause breakage of parts and needless repairs. 

4) LUBRICATION 

The gunshould not be over -lubricated. One or twodrops of light machine oil used daily is sufficient to keep the pump unit in working condition. For storage or 

discontinued use, it is recommended that a light machine oil be pumped through the gun in the same manner as cleaning fluids fora period of 2 to 3 seconds. For 

start- up,cleaning fluid should be run through the unit prior to putting it into operationso that any oily films might be pumped through the unit and flushed out. 

REPAIR PARTS AND MAJOR GUN REPAIRS 

Normally, any repairs which areneeded to the guns are minor in nature and we suggest that they be examined by the company electrician for apparent minor 

malfunctions. Thisinspection will probably involve disassembly of the pump unit and perhaps removalof thehousing cover for examination. In practically all cases, 

theseminor repairs can be made quickly without significant loss of time from operation. Should there be obviously damaged parts which must be replaced, said 

parts should be ordered from AMERICAN NIAGARA directly by number taken from the parts list supplied in the instruction sheet. Use only parts manufactured for 

and distributed by AMERICAN NIAGARA.

INK REMOVAL SYSTEMS 

The SuperTrap is designed to turn 

your washout booth into an ink removal station. 

Think of it as a scaled down, under-sink version of 

the DS or D2, with a 15-gallon recirculation system 

is that can be easily plumbed to any of Blackline’s 

washouts. Once installed, the ST traps and filters ink 

sludge and recirculates cleaning solvents, allowing 

them to be reused many times over, saving both time 

and money. 

SuperTraps are especially useful for shops printing 

large format screens that don’t fit into standard size 

ink removal units. Simply slide a SuperTrap 

underneath your oversized washout to transform it 

into a complete ink removal station. 

The SuperTrap comes complete with pump, filter 

cartridge, filter, foot switch, hose and spray nozzle.

Dip tanks have enjoyed a huge success since 

being introduced several years ago due to their 

ability to quickly and easily remove ink and 

emulsion when used in conjunction with the 

new one-step cleaners on the market. 

Blackline’s large dip tank is built of 3/8" welded 

polypropylen e and holds up to six standard size 

screens. It ships UPS and comes standard with a 

screen hold down and a lid to minimize solvent 

evaporation when the system is not in use.

The Racker Drying 

Closet provides an efficient method 

for drying screens in a safe and effective

through a filter and across a heater. The 

heater warms the air (up to 105oF) then

TECHNICAL INFORMATION 

Primo textile stamping foils are manufacture with the highest metalizer 

products available in the industry. Primo foils are specifically manufacture 

for textile printing and screen printing application. Our foils transfer at a 

lower heat temperature, less transfer time and less pressure making it 

one of the most efficient in the market. We offer a wide variety of colors, 

fashion patterns, hologram, multi colors, rainbow and custom colors made 

to order minimum order is require.
