Internet resources <strong>in</strong> medical education are rapidly develop<strong>in</strong>g and the Internet can now play a vital role <strong>in</strong><br />

provid<strong>in</strong>g a framework <strong>in</strong> which medical students can construct their learn<strong>in</strong>g collaboratively and actively.<br />

This poster suggests that learn<strong>in</strong>g can be enhanced further by the use of the Frames feature now supported by<br />

most browsers. With<strong>in</strong> a Frames environment graphics, <strong>in</strong>dexes and forms can become more functional and<br />

different types of <strong>in</strong><strong>format</strong>ion can be displayed side-by-side.<br />

In this study 10 quiz modules were designed us<strong>in</strong>g a Frames layout. The quiz modules are a series of self<br />

evaluation tests on the human nervous system. Feedback from students is discussed <strong>in</strong> the poster, along with<br />

the apparent educational advantages of Frames and Frames based quizzes. The issue of download time versus<br />
