9. It shall be the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the service <strong>providing</strong> agency to meet<br />
transportation, food, medical and other statutory requirements in respect <strong>of</strong> the<br />
persons deployed in <strong>AERA</strong> and <strong>AERA</strong> shall have no liability <strong>of</strong> any kind whatsoever<br />
towards such liabilities.<br />
10. Working hours shall be from 0900 hrs. to 1730 hrs. i.e. 8-1/2 hours per day<br />
including 30 minutes lunch break in between. However, in exigencies <strong>of</strong> work, the<br />
service provider's personnel may be required <strong>for</strong> duration exceeding the said 8112<br />
hours/day and may also be called on Saturday, Sunday and other Gazetted Holidays, if<br />
required. They may be correspondingly paid <strong>for</strong> such extra hours, additional<br />
remuneration by the service provider on the basis <strong>of</strong> a certificate provided by <strong>AERA</strong> as<br />
per approved rates <strong>of</strong> charges to be debited to <strong>AERA</strong>. However, the Authority shall<br />
reimburse only the actual amount paid by the service provider, subject to a maximum<br />
<strong>of</strong> amount on pro-rata basis, <strong>for</strong> such extra hours.<br />
11. The service provider shall be wholly and exclusively responsible <strong>for</strong> payment <strong>of</strong><br />
wages to the persons deployed by him in compliance with all the statutory obligations<br />
under all related legislations as applicable as per law in <strong>for</strong>ce, from time to time<br />
including Minimum Wages Act, Employees Provident Fund, ESI Act etc. and <strong>AERA</strong><br />
shall not incur any liability whatsoever in this respect.<br />
12. The service provider shall submit the bill in triplicate in respect <strong>of</strong> each<br />
particular month in the first week <strong>of</strong> the following month. As far as possible, the<br />
payment shall be released by the third week <strong>of</strong> the following month after deducting<br />
taxes at source under the law in <strong>for</strong>ce.<br />
13. <strong>AERA</strong> shall maintain an attendance register in respect <strong>of</strong> the staff deployed by<br />
the service provider. Payments to the service provider would be made strictly based<br />
upon the attendance as recorded in the attendance register and certification by the<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficer, with whom service provider's personnel is attached, that his service was<br />
satisfactory.<br />
14. No wage / remuneration shall be payable towards the period when any staff<br />
remains absent from duty.<br />
15. The service provider shall also provide the required personnel <strong>for</strong> a shorter<br />
period, in case <strong>of</strong> any exigencies as per the requirement <strong>of</strong> <strong>AERA</strong>.<br />
16. The service provider shall provide substitute's well in advance if there is any<br />
probability <strong>of</strong> a person leaving the job due to his/her own personal reasons. The<br />
payment in respect <strong>of</strong> the overlapping period <strong>of</strong> the substitute shall be the<br />
responsibility <strong>of</strong> the service provider.<br />
17. The service provider shall be contactable at all times and message sent by<br />
phone/mail/fax/special messenger from <strong>AERA</strong> to the service provider shall be<br />
acknowledged/responded to immediately on receipt.<br />
18. The service provider shall strictly observe the instructions issued by this <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
in fulfillment <strong>of</strong> the terms <strong>of</strong> the contract from time to time.<br />
19. The agency should be registered with the concerned Government Authorities<br />
under required legislating and a copy <strong>of</strong> the registration may be submitted.<br />
