Phenotypically and functionally, all DCs are not equal. Different DC subs<strong>et</strong>s have been<br />

<strong>de</strong>scribed based on their surface marker expression profile, tissue localization and<br />

specialization in antigen presentation (Table 4). The first distinction can be ma<strong>de</strong> b<strong>et</strong>ween<br />

conventional DC (cDCs) and plasmacytoid DC (pDCs) populations that can be observed and<br />
