Value for honey: sometimes considered an excellent plant
capable of giving more N and more blossom for a given
known 3522 ; also has been known to have a poor attractio
possibility that it only yields well in warm weather 50 ;
honeybees in Kootenay, B.C. 50 ; many extravagant claims
may deserve field trials 72 .
Value for pollen: little P collected 35 .
Notes: flowers fragrant; cool moist site preferred; cultivat
perfumery.
