TRIP: Okay. We're all devotees of Ramana Maharshi, and this<br />

WIZARD: I don't know. I wouldn't call myself a devotee.<br />

TRIP: Not a devotee?<br />

WIZARD: I would say that he affirms that in a very clear way for<br />

PAUL NAGY: No incense at his alter?<br />

WIZARD: No, I don't…<br />

TRIP: You've set up some pujas for him when we went to Tiru;<br />

you have a picture, put flowers up on it, and everything.<br />

WIZARD: I think veneration of those who are clear reflection is<br />

veneration of our self. But deification, or idolatry, or just that to<br />

worship an “other” is counterproductive, unless it leads into the<br />

recognition that there is no other.<br />

TRIP: Well I've got a question for both you guys, all right.<br />

Because, Robert, I don't want to misquote you, but I think in your<br />

book you would say that the term, Thy will, or let's just say, Thy<br />

will be done, which is what Ramana apparently said when he hit<br />

Tiruvannamalai. You and your book say this whole idea of thy will<br />

doesn't really quite get it because there is no thy out there. And,<br />

<strong>Wizard</strong>, I've heard you say, Thy will be done, as well as a biblical<br />

reference. So I'm just wondering was Ramana having a moment of<br />

forgetfulness around the absolute saturation that unconditioned<br />
