limited to one mind. So then, once conduct this investigation there<br />

are likely to be questions and objections that come up, and that's<br />

also an aspect which a spiritual friend may be helpful by helping<br />

us sort out these objections in answering them.<br />

But at the end, we reach a total certainty that we can never know<br />

based upon our phenomenal experience. And then at that moment<br />

we are free to conduct experiments that are based on the ultimate<br />

possibility, that we are free to live as this consciousness -<br />

unlimited, impersonal, unborn, you see, and that's OK. As we<br />

begin to walk the walk, and not only think the thought, as we begin<br />

to walk the walk, and to live in accordance <strong>with</strong> this ultimate<br />

possibility, <strong>with</strong> the possibilities that this apparently simple and<br />

limited consciousness is in fact divine, and universal, that the<br />

magic comes into play, the revelation if you will. It is a living<br />

revelation, it is not revealed once and for all, it is there for you<br />

once and for all but it keeps revealing itself.<br />

WIZARD: Yes.<br />

TRIP: So what you're saying, is that somebody really needs to take<br />

on a different assumption about who or what they are first, they<br />

have to play <strong>with</strong> that, right?<br />

FRANCIS LUCILLE: Yes, because you cannot live from a lie, you<br />

cannot live from a belief. Our problem is that we believe to be<br />

separate, limited, that’s what I call ignorance, I don't use the word<br />

ego, and I use the word ignorance which is the belief that this<br />

consciousness…<br />

WIZARD: It's a belief.<br />

FRANCIS LUCILLE: I, me, the extent of which is beyond a shadow<br />

of a doubt that this, I, is limited, it's broadly-based, body<br />

dependent.<br />

WIZARD: So a belief of thoughts, just thoughts.<br />
