The Romsey Modeller - Romsey Modellers

This is the set of furniture, and a cat
they very kindly included for me. No
house should be without a cat!
Although like the dog he has an air
bubble where his nose should be –
double oops…
Note the house has no cooker but a chimney – this will need sorting at some point – time for a surf and
research session… More on that later.
Whilst having a mental block with various other projects I’m working on I wanted something simple to paint so
got on with painting the furniture.
After cleaning them up – hardly any needed, I drilled them and fitted veropins to make them easier to handle. I
added a small chest to the table and then
got on with the painting. They were primed
with Halfords grey primer and painting with
Games Workshop Vermin Brown.
They were then given a wash of Agrax
Earthshade ink, (don’t ask, I didn’t name
them!)
And finally drybrushed with Vomit Brown
and then Bubonic Brown to bring out the
detail.
The metal work was painted Boltgun Metal
and washed with Nuhn Oil black ink.
