Johan van Hall<br />
Johan van Hall (1960) has a background as a chartered accountant and<br />
registered IT Auditor.<br />
After holding a number <strong>of</strong> positions within Group Audit he moved to <strong>the</strong> Program Director<br />
role <strong>of</strong> developing and integrating <strong>the</strong> distribution channels <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> bank (a.o. internet, call<br />
centre).<br />
Subsequently he was appointed COO within <strong>the</strong> MT <strong>of</strong> business unit Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands.<br />
Since February 2009 he is member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Managing Board <strong>of</strong> ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as<br />
COO and is now responsible for IT, Operations, Property and Integration.<br />

Karla K. McKenna<br />
Director, Market Practice and Standards<br />
Global Transaction Services<br />
Karla McKenna is Chair <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> International Organization for Standardization Technical<br />
Committee 68 (<strong>ISO</strong> TC68), Financial Services, a position she has held since 2006. Her<br />
current term ends in December 2012.<br />
When not handling <strong>ISO</strong> assignments, Karla McKenna, Director, Global Transaction<br />
Services, Securities and Fund Services, manages Market Practice and Standards for <strong>the</strong>se<br />
businesses for Citi.<br />
In addition, she is Chair <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG), serves on <strong>the</strong><br />
Board and Executive Committee <strong>of</strong> Accredited Standards Committee X9 (ASC X9), <strong>the</strong><br />
Board <strong>of</strong> International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC)<br />
and on <strong>the</strong> International Steering Committee (ISC) <strong>of</strong> XBRL International . She also<br />
participates in committees and working groups <strong>of</strong> industry organizations such as <strong>the</strong> Society<br />
for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) and in supporting standards<br />
initiatives such as Issuer to Investor: Corporate Actions.<br />

Jan Wesseldijk<br />
As Managing Director <strong>of</strong> NEN, <strong>the</strong> Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands Standardization Institute, Jan Wesseldijk<br />
has doubled NEN‟s societal impact and speeded up its growth. He has been twice elected<br />
Member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> Council and twice as Vice-President <strong>of</strong> CEN.<br />
Jan has a broad industrial experience. As President <strong>of</strong> Royal Cosun (1994-1999), <strong>the</strong><br />
Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands agrifood multinational, he focused on international growth and on integration<br />
along <strong>the</strong> food chain. Royal Cosun became a major European sugar producer and supplier<br />
<strong>of</strong> many o<strong>the</strong>r food ingredients.<br />
Earlier he was President <strong>of</strong> AkzoNobel Base Chemicals (1989-1994), <strong>the</strong> worldwide basechemical<br />
business <strong>of</strong> AkzoNobel. International cost leadership has been realized and<br />
environmental performance improved. During this time Wesseldijk was also chairman <strong>of</strong><br />
Eurochlor, <strong>the</strong> European industry association for basic chemicals.<br />
He has an international career. He worked and lived in 9 different counties: from Japan to<br />
Argentina, and from France to Venezuela. With three multinational companies he worked in<br />
11 different industries: from sugar to salt, and from plastics to home appliances. For him<br />
„people make <strong>the</strong> difference‟.<br />

James heads up a small team <strong>of</strong> experts based in <strong>the</strong> UK who are establishing standards<br />
policy within <strong>the</strong> UK payments industry and helping to drive standards developments<br />
internationally. His experience in developing industry standards ranges from e-invoicing<br />
through to Card standards at <strong>ISO</strong> and JTC1. He is UK Head <strong>of</strong> Delegation to <strong>ISO</strong>/TC68 and<br />
convenor <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> LEI Working Group 6.<br />

Since 1999 Head <strong>of</strong> Standards in <strong>the</strong> Danish Bankers Association<br />
Responsibility:<br />
Overall strategic monitoring <strong>of</strong> international development within IT-standards and message<br />
standards with <strong>the</strong> primary purpose <strong>of</strong> reporting business opportunities and protecting<br />
Danish Banks interest and possibilities primarily in <strong>the</strong> payments, cash management, direct<br />
debits, eInvoicing corporate/consumer to bank, bank to bank, and bank to<br />
corporate/consumer. SEPA, SWIFT, <strong>ISO</strong>20022 UNIFI and <strong>ISO</strong>15000 ebXML area.<br />
Responsible for <strong>the</strong> coordination and development <strong>of</strong> all Danish Banks development <strong>of</strong> ebanking<br />
message standards with focus on <strong>the</strong> business related side (payment, cards,<br />
securities, trade services).<br />
Responsible for following and representing Danish Banks in all relevant national and<br />
international standards and developing efforts in relation to financial and supply chain<br />
messages including contact to vendors.<br />
Responsible for following and representing Danish Banks and <strong>the</strong> National SWIFT<br />
community in <strong>the</strong> standards work related to interbank communication nationally and crossboarder.<br />
Project Leader, responsible for Danish Payments Infrastructure Strategy and SEPA<br />

Axelle Wurmser<br />
Ms Axelle Wurmser has been working in <strong>the</strong> financial industry in France, since around 30<br />
years. After a few years as a consultant, she entered in PARIBAS Group in <strong>the</strong> early<br />
eighties. She had different roles in support functions, including IT and Management Control<br />
for instance. After <strong>the</strong> merge <strong>of</strong> BNP and Paribas, she joined <strong>the</strong> subsidiary SECURITIES<br />
SERVICES. She is now leading <strong>the</strong> management support team in <strong>the</strong> Back Offices, in this<br />
entity. She has been a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> REGISTRATION MANAGEMENT GROUP (RMG) as<br />
Alternate delegate for France since four years.<br />
And also a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> TC68. She has taken part in many occasions in <strong>the</strong> Standard<br />
Evaluation Group evaluation teams for securities messages. She is a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> TC68<br />
Study Group for <strong>the</strong> LEI. And she is <strong>the</strong> convenor <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> French National Market Practice<br />
Group.<br />

Nourredine Yous<br />
After my banking study at <strong>the</strong> Institut Technique de Banque in Paris I worked with banks like<br />
BNP <strong>the</strong>n moved to Switzerland where I started working for SIX Telekurs, <strong>the</strong> Swiss national<br />
numbering agency and information provider. In between I completed my banking knowledge<br />
with a degree as IT project manager. Till end <strong>of</strong> March 2011 I was Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Reference<br />
Data Management I am now responsible for <strong>the</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Data Strategy <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
company.<br />
I started my <strong>ISO</strong> contributions in <strong>the</strong> early nineties as <strong>the</strong> convenor <strong>of</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> TC68/SC4/WG6,<br />
<strong>the</strong>n was appointed to <strong>the</strong> chair <strong>of</strong> SC4 in 2000.<br />

Gerard B. J. Hartsink<br />
Gerard Hartsink is Senior Advisor to <strong>the</strong> Managing Board <strong>of</strong> ABN AMRO Bank. During his<br />
career as Senior Executive Vice President <strong>of</strong> ABN AMRO he has had managerial roles in<br />
sales, product development, information management and operations in several <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Business Units.<br />
He currently holds responsibility for <strong>the</strong> relationship with market infrastructures and industry standards<br />

Maria do Ceù da Silva Pereira<br />
Ceu Pereira is a Senior Payment Systems Expert in <strong>the</strong> Payment Systems Development<br />
Group <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> World Bank since May 2010. Her current responsibilities include a broad range<br />
<strong>of</strong> issues such as technical advice to central banks in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> high value and retail<br />
payment systems, assessing countries financial sector infrastructure and payment systems<br />
in <strong>the</strong> framework <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> IMF/WB Financial Sector Assessment Program, financial inclusion,<br />
and AML/CFT work in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> payments. She has a wide regional experience in<br />
European, African and Latin American Countries.<br />
Ceu has many years experience in <strong>the</strong> financial sector, and specifically on payments. She<br />
contributed to numerous initiatives in this field, such as <strong>the</strong> Payment Services Directive,<br />
FATF standards in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> payments and international work on remittances.<br />
Previously, Ceu has worked for <strong>the</strong> European Commission, <strong>the</strong> European Central Bank, and<br />
<strong>the</strong> Portuguese Ministry <strong>of</strong> Finance during <strong>the</strong> Portuguese Presidency <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> EU in 2007.<br />
Ceu has a Masters degree in European Integration by <strong>the</strong> College <strong>of</strong> Europe and speaks<br />
fluently 5 languages.<br />

Patrice Hertzog<br />
Patrice Hertzog is Manager, Payment Systems at Credit Mutuel, France. He joined <strong>the</strong> bank<br />
in 1991as IT Project Manager and has been involved in <strong>the</strong> development <strong>of</strong> innovative<br />
products including cards, new technologies, electronic and mobile payments. He<br />
participates in industry work notably within <strong>the</strong> European Payments Council. He is currently<br />
Chair <strong>of</strong> TC68/SC7 Core banking.<br />

Liliana Fratini Passi<br />
Liliana is Chief Executive Officer <strong>of</strong> CBI Consortium, created under <strong>the</strong> auspices <strong>of</strong><br />
ABI (Italian Banking Association). The CBI Consortium owns <strong>the</strong> governance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
CBI Service, which is a system developed with <strong>the</strong> aim to facilitate <strong>the</strong> corporate<br />
management <strong>of</strong> electronic multibanking connections and e-invoicing transmission.<br />
She is also President <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Financial Intermediaries WG set up by <strong>the</strong> Ministry on Economic<br />
Development for Trade Facilitation; member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> EC Expert Group on e-Invoicing; board member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

André Casterman<br />
Head <strong>of</strong> Trade and Supply Chain, SWIFT<br />
André Casterman heads up SWIFT‟s “Trade and Supply Chain” initiative since October<br />
2009. His responsibilities cover both <strong>the</strong> traditional trade and <strong>the</strong> supply chain markets in <strong>the</strong><br />
inter-bank and corporate markets.<br />
André Casterman was previously Director <strong>of</strong> SWIFT France. France is SWIFT‟s fourth<br />
largest country in terms <strong>of</strong> message volumes. André joined SWIFT France in 2006, initially<br />
in charge <strong>of</strong> SWIFT's global relationship with BNP Paribas, SWIFT‟s fourth largest customer.<br />
André joined SWIFT in 1991 in Information Systems, where he contributed to numerous IT<br />
projects, including <strong>the</strong> roll out <strong>of</strong> SAP in support <strong>of</strong> SWIFT‟s back-<strong>of</strong>fice processes.<br />
From 1997 to 2001, André contributed to <strong>the</strong> conception and commercialisation <strong>of</strong> SWIFT‟s<br />
new IP-based messaging portfolio (SWIFTNet), which has now become <strong>the</strong> foundation <strong>of</strong> all<br />
SWIFT activities.<br />
From 2001 to 2005, André led SWIFT‟s business developments activities in low-value<br />
payments and rolled out SWIFTNet FileAct in both ACH and corporate markets. SWIFTNet<br />
FileAct has now become a recognised industry standard to exchange files <strong>of</strong> payment and<br />
cash management data.<br />
André Casterman has a Masters in Management and a Masters in Computer Science from<br />
Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and an economics degree from ICHEC Bruxelles.<br />
André Casterman speaks fluent French, Dutch and English.<br />

Dana Kissinger-Matray<br />
Ms. Dana Kissinger-Matray<br />
Secretary <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> Committee on consumer policy (<strong>ISO</strong>/COPOLCO)<br />
Dana Kissinger-Matray (Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts, Bryn Mawr College, USA, 1986, and Certificate as<br />
Assistant in Public Relations, Swiss Public Relations Institute, 1991) has been Secretary <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> Committee on consumer policy since 2000. She was appointed Secretary <strong>of</strong><br />
COPOLCO after four years with <strong>ISO</strong>'s Committee on conformity assessment (<strong>ISO</strong>/CASCO).<br />
Prior to joining <strong>ISO</strong>, Dana was a technical translator and magazine editor for several<br />
companies and associations in Geneva. She is also a certified teacher <strong>of</strong> English as a<br />
Foreign Language and has taught in several private language schools in <strong>the</strong> Geneva area.<br />
Dana is married to Jef Matray and has two lively daughters. She particularly enjoys reading,<br />
travelling, music and sports, especially long-distance running and skiing.<br />

Paul Hojka<br />
My work experience in IT and Payments processing covers over 25 years; it started at American<br />
Express supporting Charge Card Point <strong>of</strong> Sale transactions on <strong>the</strong> earliest POS systems. I <strong>the</strong>n<br />
moved into an Information Engineering Project which was set up to revamp <strong>the</strong> worldwide retail<br />
systems at Amex onto a single homogenous platform.<br />
I worked in HSBC Bank as a Systems Analyst/Programmer working in a CICS/COBOL IBM<br />
environment for <strong>the</strong> electronic payments area which required revamped payments architecture to<br />
cater for new business requirements and a more efficient capture <strong>of</strong> data processing.<br />
During early 2000 I became involved in a small team given <strong>the</strong> brief to set up Internet Banking at<br />
HSBC for Corporates and encompassing PKI. This involved writing an Internal Design for a Digital<br />
Certificate PKI system base on Identrus written in Java and HTML, <strong>the</strong>n rolling out <strong>the</strong> product for<br />
testing and delivery to <strong>the</strong> HSBC Group.<br />
Ano<strong>the</strong>r assignment followed on <strong>the</strong> BACSTEL_IP system using a new web based payments system<br />
for banking customers in <strong>the</strong> UK, project managing user requirements and ensuring installation on<br />
Internet and Fixed Extranet links. I also assisted in writing a Functional and Technical specification <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> project for a Security PKI outsourced solution provided by British Telecom.<br />
Recently I have been working with UK Payments formally APACS in <strong>the</strong> Standards Unit. I have<br />
become involved in payments messaging standards with bodies such as SWIFT and UNCEFACT. I<br />
am a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Trade and Payments Standards Evaluation Groups and I am Vice Convenor <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Technical Support Group for <strong>ISO</strong> 20022. Recent projects include <strong>the</strong> design and implementation<br />
<strong>of</strong> a <strong>ISO</strong> 20022 Finance Invoicing message and work on <strong>the</strong> Business Application Header as well as<br />
working on <strong>the</strong> new 1.5 <strong>ISO</strong> 200222 Standard which has just been submitted for Final Draft<br />
International Standard at <strong>ISO</strong>.<br />

Sergio Sorgi<br />
Sergio Sorgi, 49 years old, is Vice President <strong>of</strong> Progetica and experienced in personal<br />
finance, retirement an relations between welfare State and social security. He is senior<br />
consultant and trainer for main Italian organizations and companies. He‟s author and<br />
coauthor <strong>of</strong> eleven books, and his articles on welfare, pension system, financial literacy and<br />
personal finance appear frequently on main newspapers and magazines. He‟s currently<br />
involved in studies about relations between fear and decisions in financial planning. Since<br />
2007 he is involved in UNI‟s workgroup GL 14 to define national standards in financial<br />
education and personal financial planning. In 2009 he participated to <strong>ISO</strong>‟s 22222<br />
Implementation Committee in Milan. He is convenor <strong>of</strong> UNI/TR 11403 “Guidelines for<br />
selection <strong>of</strong> a personal financial planner” consistent with UNI <strong>ISO</strong> 22222:2008.<br />

Michelle Hoskin – Director, Standards International<br />
Nearly a decade ago, Michelle Hoskin saw that <strong>the</strong> future road map for financial<br />
services would not be an easy one. However, she believed that by changing your mind set,<br />
differentiating yourself from your competitors and striving for continual improvement <strong>the</strong><br />
future would be bright.<br />
As an expert in financial services, Michelle understands <strong>the</strong> challenges facing many<br />
financial advisers within <strong>the</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>ession today and as result in early 2006 after <strong>the</strong> desire to<br />
raise pr<strong>of</strong>essionalism within <strong>the</strong> market place became so strong, she co founded Standards<br />
International which is proud to be <strong>the</strong> UK‟s first dedicated UKAS accredited certification<br />
body to specialise in <strong>the</strong> assessment <strong>of</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> 22222 – The international pr<strong>of</strong>essional standard<br />
for personal financial planners.<br />
Since this time Standards International and <strong>the</strong> interest in <strong>ISO</strong> 22222 continues to grow from<br />
strength to strength.<br />
Due to <strong>the</strong> current landscape <strong>of</strong> change <strong>the</strong>re has never been a better time for financial<br />
planners to raise <strong>the</strong>ir pr<strong>of</strong>essional standing and <strong>the</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> 22222 standard is <strong>the</strong> only<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional standard that gives financial planners <strong>the</strong> recognition <strong>the</strong>y truly deserve.<br />

Ruggero Lensi<br />
UNI – Director <strong>of</strong> External Relations, New Businesses and Innovation<br />
Degree in Civil Engineering at <strong>the</strong> Polytechnic in Milan. He has been working in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong><br />
standardization since 1995 in UNI, <strong>the</strong> Italian National Standards Body.<br />
At <strong>the</strong> beginning in UNI he was involved in <strong>the</strong> development <strong>of</strong> processes and tools for <strong>the</strong><br />
technical department. Since 2003, as Technical Director, he has contributed to <strong>the</strong> evolution<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> standardization towards <strong>the</strong> global society <strong>of</strong> services by participating in international,<br />
European and national debates concerning topics as social responsibility, quality <strong>of</strong> tourism,<br />
financial services and qualification <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essions. In this regard he has organized in Italy<br />
many working meeting among <strong>the</strong> public part, <strong>the</strong> private sectors and <strong>the</strong> citizens.<br />
He has been <strong>the</strong> Italian Member <strong>of</strong> <strong>ISO</strong>/TMB by participating in <strong>the</strong> setting up <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> WG SR,<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> MSS and <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Global Relevance Policy, where he has coordinated <strong>the</strong><br />
implementation at CEN level.<br />
From <strong>the</strong> beginning <strong>of</strong> 2010 he has been given <strong>the</strong> role in UNI <strong>of</strong> Director <strong>of</strong> External<br />
Relations, New Businesses and Innovation, a new structure for <strong>the</strong> carrying out <strong>of</strong> strategic<br />
lines and <strong>the</strong> finding out <strong>of</strong> new potential markets and <strong>of</strong> new stakeholders. He has<br />
coordinated <strong>the</strong> international works <strong>of</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> 22222 Implementation Committee and he has<br />
developed <strong>the</strong> topic <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> financial education <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> citizen.<br />

Michael Chapman<br />
Michael Chapman is a senior policy expert with <strong>the</strong> OECD Financial Education and<br />
Consumer Protection Unit. He has responsibility for financial consumer protection work,<br />
including G20 work streams and <strong>the</strong> OECD Financial Consumer Protection Taskforce. He is<br />
contributing to <strong>the</strong> International Network on Financial Education work on credit and financial<br />
education.<br />
Previously he ran his own advisory consultancy specialising in financial capability and<br />
financial inclusion policy and he spent three years as a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> UK Financial<br />
Services Consumer Panel. In <strong>the</strong> past he has been Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Scarman Trust in<br />
Scotland, Associate Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Centre for Research into Socially Inclusive Services,<br />
Financial Inclusion Officer for <strong>the</strong> City <strong>of</strong> Edinburgh, Senior Research Officer at <strong>the</strong> Scottish<br />
Office and lecturer in urban and regional economics at <strong>the</strong> School <strong>of</strong> Planning and Housing,<br />
Heriot Watt University.<br />

Jean-Yves Garnier<br />
At present Mr. GARNIER is an independent consultant.<br />
From 1988 till 2009 in <strong>the</strong> Group Banques Populaires in NATIXIS - <strong>the</strong> former Caisse Centrale<br />
(C.C.B.P ), Mr. GARNIER managed <strong>the</strong> Interbank Relationships and coordinated <strong>the</strong><br />
developments on <strong>the</strong> payments and payment systems.<br />
He acted as advisor on internal projects and took an active part in developing payment strategy for<br />
<strong>the</strong> Group Banques Populaires, and he also intervened as adviser for <strong>the</strong> marketing, , <strong>the</strong><br />
Correspondent Banking and with <strong>the</strong> s<strong>of</strong>tware development and with <strong>the</strong> project management<br />
(user side).<br />
He actively participated in national and international bodies in <strong>the</strong> area <strong>of</strong> payments, in which he<br />
represented <strong>the</strong> Group Banques Populaires ( at EPC) or <strong>the</strong> French banking community, namely<br />
in <strong>the</strong> following Boards (SWIFT, EBA). He chaired <strong>the</strong> E.C.B.S. and became chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sub-<br />
Committee 7 <strong>of</strong> <strong>ISO</strong> TC68 related to Core Banking and Card related activities.<br />
Previously, Mr. GARNIER was Director in charge <strong>of</strong> payments back-<strong>of</strong>fices) (national,<br />
international and electronic banking) as well as <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> project management.<br />
Before joining <strong>the</strong> Group Banques Populaires, Mr. GARNIER ran <strong>the</strong> Organisation Division at<br />
BIAO. He worked in <strong>the</strong> Organisation Department and previously as a retail banker by Société<br />
Générale.<br />
Mr. GARNIER is 58 years old, married with two children and is graduate by <strong>the</strong> Business School<br />
Audencia in Nantes (France) and in Economics by <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Le Mans (France).<br />
