Whereas a disciplinary proceeding was initiated against Ch;-P-I:amod Das at present Asst. Fire Officer as per Rule-15 of th~CA (CCA) Rule, 1962 for his gross misconduct, in Home Department Memo No. 1574/CD, dt.31.8.2005. And whereas Shri Sukumar Panigrahi, IPS, Ex-D.I.G. of Police, Home Guards was appointed as Inquiring Officer vide Home Department O.No.436/CD, dt.13.3.2007 to conduct and complete t11e enquiry in case of the above; proceedings and submit his findings. And whereas Shri Sukumar Panigrahi,IPS, retired on superannuation ~o~pl~i~ w.e.£ 31.8.2007 and has not ~ his findings of the enquiry in the aforesaid proceedings. Government after careful consideration have been pleas(i::Fo appoint Smt. B. Radhika, IPS ~~ D.I.G. of Police, State Crime Record Bureau, Rasulgarh, Bhub~eswar as Inquiring Officer under OCA (CCA) Rule f~f +...~@ pW:l')ose to enquire into the charges and complete the same by 28.12.2007 as it is pending since 2005. Government have further been pleased to decide that the Deputy Fire Officer, .OFS H~adquarters, Cuttack who was appointed as Marshalling Officer vide Home Department Office Order No.436/CD, dt.13.3.2007 is to continue as Marshalling Officer to present the case on behalf of the State Goverrunent.
