Partial <strong>List</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Diplomats</strong> and Support Staff Members<br />
These diplomats and staff members from various Ethiopian Embassies and Consular<br />
Offices left their job over the last three months. Some <strong>of</strong> these diplomats were<br />
dismissed from their posts accused <strong>of</strong> being members and/or supporters <strong>of</strong> opposition<br />
<strong>for</strong>ces. Some others were ordered to report to the Head Office against a background<br />
<strong>of</strong> security reports collected on them by TPLF agents at the Embassies. All <strong>of</strong> them<br />
are awaiting charges <strong>of</strong> “genocide, desertion…” and other fictitious crimes. The total<br />
number <strong>of</strong> diplomats who left the regime after the May 2005 election is more than<br />
twice than the number in this list, which is believed to constitute nearly 75 % <strong>of</strong> the<br />
diplomatic staff.<br />
