1972 - 1978 : Lecturer at the EPFL in the fields of hydrology, applied statistics in hydrology, pedology as well as
land and water improvement and management,

International Institutions, namely at Delft (Holland), Lisbon (Portugal), Oran (Algeria) and Niamey

Since 1986 : Ordinary professor at the EPFL, responsible for the teaching and the development of fundamental
and applied research in the fields of soil physics, hydrology, water resources, land use,
improvement and management,
