St. Anne’s Hymn

Refrain: O Good St. Anne, we call on your name,
your praises loud, your children proclaim.
To pray at your altar in faith we draw near,
led here by your daughter, Christ’s Mother, so dear.
St. Anne is in heaven and joins us in prayer
to praise the Lord’s blessings and love that we share.
To all those who come here you offer your prayer
that they may find comfort in Jesus’ dear care.
St. Anne of the Sunset in work and in prayer
we seek your fair word upon all that we bear.

THE PILGRIM’S PRAYER
Celebrant:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit. Let us join in the Pilgrim’s Prayer to St. Anne.
All:
St. Anne, pilgrims have come to this shrine for 100 years. I
have come here today to honor you and offer my prayers. I know of
your kindness to all of God’s children who are in need of your intercession
before the Lord. St. Anne, I ask your help in obtaining the
grace I am most in need of at this present moment. (Silent pause.)

of the Queen of Heaven and our Savior’s grandmother, I implore
you to obtain from Jesus through your immaculate Daughter, the favors
I stand in need of. Amen.

Devotional Prayer to St. Anne
All:
O Good St. Anne, grandmother of the Prince of Peace, we
come to you in prayer. We offer you our world, our families, and
ourselves. Men, women, and children of this world are longing to
live in peace. Many are innocent victims of division, violence, and
hate. In communion with you, your daughter Mary, we turn to your
grandson, the Lord Jesus. We implore him to place his Spirit in the
hearts of all people. May the Lord grant us peace in our day.
O Good St. Anne, through your intercession, may we all be
peacemakers. Amen.
