COUNCIL COMMUNICATION
SUBJECT: MOTION
Consideration for approval of amendment no. 2 an increase of $5,852.28 to the professional
services contract with Architects Plus, Inc., Laredo, Texas for upgrades to site lighting, site
furnishings, and site landscaping for the El Eden Community Park Improvements Project.
Current engineering contract amount with his amendment is $48,896.87. Funding is available
in the 2008 CO and 2007 CO Discretionary.
BACKGROUND:
The original scope of work included but not limited to:

The project consists of the complete construction of outdoor amenities for the new El Eden Community Park
Improvements including a concrete basketball court, concrete sidewalk trails, shade structures, steel benches,
perimeter cyclone fencing, drainage structures, site lighting system, sprinkler system and landscaping.
This amendment no. 2 is for upgrades to site lighting, site furnishings, and site landscaping.
