It’s easy, right? After doing this activity, you have to read the information in the charts of the section
“Grammar Presentation” in your textbook. You will see the structures of sentences that use the expression
“be supposed to”. You must also read the section “Grammar Notes” in order to learn about the use of “be
supposed to” to express expectations.
Once you go through the information in “Grammar Notes you are supposed to check your understanding
of what you have read in “Grammar Notes” by doing the exercises in the sections “Focused Practice” and
“Communication Practice” in your textbook. These activities will be very useful as they are a preparation
for the on-site exams.
Let’s continue with the following topic.

The focus here is on the uses of “may”, “might”, and “could” to express expectations.
At the beginning of this part in the “Grammar in context” section of your textbook, you will see map
and a transcript of a weather report on Bristish TV. Do the activitiy “Before you Read” before reading the
report. Then read and do the activity “After you Read”.
