6.4. Adverbs: As…as, Comparatives, Superlatives
Here we will focus on the uses of adverbs to make comparisons with as…as, comparative adverbs with
than and superlative adverbs.
It is important to read the information of the “Grammar in Context” section in your textbook. You will find
a transcript of a TV sports program. Do the activities “Before you Read” and “After you Read”. Remember
to focus your attention on the words in bold letters. This will help you familiarize yourself with the
grammar structures to be studied.
