Once you have finished this exercise I recommend you to read the information in the charts of the section
“Grammar Presentation”. These charts provide the structure of statements, yes/no questions, and short
answers using “used to”. Remember that the explanation will be given in the section “Grammar Notes.”
Don’t forget to read it carefully.
Now you can check your understanding of what you have learned in “Grammar Notes” by doing the
exercises in the “Focused Practice” and “Communication Practice” sections.
Don’t forget that doing the exercises in the aforementioned sections will help you prepare for your onsite
exams. For this reason I suggest you do those activities.

1.6 Future
Here we will study different ways to talk about the future.
First, it is important that you read the text of the “Grammar in Context” section in your textbook. You will
find an article about jobs of the future. Interesting, isn’t it?
When you finish reading the article, do the activities “Before you Read” and “After you Read”. Remember
to focus your attention on the words in bold letters. This will help you familiarize yourself with the
grammar structures to be studied.

Once you complete the exercise above take a look at the section “Grammar Presentation”. Here you will
