Noricum Vita is the company in the Uni-
pol Group which has worked for may
years in the life insurance sector, pro-
moting sales through bank counters,
including, in particular, those of Cas-
sa di Risparmio di Bologna and Ban-
ca Popolare dell’Adriatico that are part
of the S. Paolo Imi Group, which owns
44% of the share capital of Noricum Vi-
ta through Cardine Finanziaria S.p.A..
51% of the company is owned by Uni-
pol S.p.A. and the remaining 5% by Re-
ale Mutua.
Bank counters total 316.
The sales network is completed by the
SimGest fi nancial advisors, a retail co-
operative-owned fi nancial services and
insurance broker.
In 2002 the company reported a premi-
um income of €293.1m, in line with the
previous fi nancial year, whilst 9,715 new
contracts were signed during the year,
well up compared with 2001.
