For some time <strong>Unipol</strong> has applied a<br />
“family bonus” with favourable condi-<br />
tions for those who replace a vehicle<br />
and make over the new one to a rela-<br />
tive. For owners of more than one vehi-<br />
cle, <strong>Unipol</strong> applies to the second vehi-<br />
cle the same class of merit as the first.<br />
<strong>Unipol</strong> is willing enter into an agree-<br />
ment with other insurance companies in<br />
which passengers are paid directly and<br />
without limit, the payment then being re-<br />
imbursed by the insurer of the party at<br />
fault in the accident.<br />
<strong>Unipol</strong> hopes that within the 6-month<br />
period specified in the Protocol, eco-<br />
nomic parameters are defined for bio-<br />
logical damage at all levels of disability.<br />
<strong>Unipol</strong> agrees with this extension and<br />
hopes the procedure will be extended to<br />
include permanent disability of up to 9%<br />
and personal injuries to passengers.<br />
MORE FAVOURABLE CONTRACTUAL CLAUSES FOR THE CUSTOMERS<br />
IN SPECIFIC SITUATIONS:<br />
A – theft, scrap or sale of the ve-<br />
hicle<br />
<strong>Unipol</strong> is already in line with the Pro-<br />
tocol in terms of retaining the class of<br />
merit in cases of theft or scrapping a ve-<br />
hicle. For reimbursement of the part of<br />
the premium not used in case of theft,<br />
as specified in the Protocol Agreement,<br />
amendments to the law governing com-<br />
pulsory insurance are deemed neces-<br />
sary.<br />
