RIGHT TO INFORMATION<br />

Today the values of the slow, steady, prudent saver are being rediscovered –<br />

people who manage to put something aside even in the toughest times. At the<br />

same time, many more instruments and tools for savings have been developed.<br />

Advertising tends to promote contact between the parties but is unable to pro-<br />

mote consulting services. Therefore, the Company has decided to improve its<br />

communications and the circulation of information about its products in order to<br />

give its customers the broadest possible choice. Information of this sort aims<br />

less at making a sale than at developing relations with the customer.<br />

At <strong>Unipol</strong> communications with stakeholders are via:<br />

the <strong>Social</strong> <strong>Report</strong>, addressed to all <strong>Unipol</strong> stakeholders;<br />

the Annual <strong>Report</strong> of the Complaints Department, ‘<strong>Unipol</strong> Risponde’;<br />

the ‘InformaCRU’ and ‘Cesarinforma’ newsletters, for <strong>Unipol</strong> Regional Coun-<br />

cils;<br />

the TPL letter sent to all TPL customers when the policy expires, informing<br />

him/her of amendments to the contract, 50 days prior to their taking effect.<br />

These letters are not compulsory since <strong>Unipol</strong> contracts are not tacitly re-<br />

newable. The customer is given the maximum choice after expiry of the con-<br />

tract;<br />

‘UNIPOLInforma’, the magazine created in 2002 to<br />

establish lasting relations with the customer, and to<br />

communicate products and services provided by<br />

<strong>Unipol</strong>, with opportunities for other members of the<br />

Group and for customers;<br />

the website www.unipol.it;<br />

the website www.unipolonline.com;<br />

the website www.agenziaunipol.com.<br />
