tolerance and, up to now, has been resistant to
G graminicola in Brazil.
Research workers seeking anthracnose-resistant
sorghums in Brazil have been considering
the existence of physiological races of Col-
letotrichum graminicola to select highly resistant
genotypes in greenhouse screening. Reactions of
several experimental grain sorghum hybrids developed
in the National Maize and Sorghum Research
Center (NMSRC) Sorghum Breeding
Program are presented in Table 5. The first two
hybrids, CMSXS 350 and CMSXS 351, will be
