What is the Comitive
An original concept
• The Comitive is an artistic project that breaks new ground; over the last 10 years the
artist Marc FERRERO has created the Comitive, (the word comes from an Italian
word comitiva meaning a community that is strongly committed to the same values
and which is therefore, already a social network. Each member of the Comitive has
his or her own special talent, they all live in different countries but they all come
together to solve a crisis. Their missions always have a positive aim and it is the
synergy of their talents that enables them to succeed.
• To date 2,500 of the storyboard canvases that follow the adventures of the Comitive,
made up of Cello, Duke and LISA, are in private collections throughout the world. On
FACEBOOK, Marc FERRERO and the Comitive have gathered more than 1,500
fans.
• Collectors of Marc FERRERO's work readily identify themselves with one or other of
the members of the Comitive because Marc FERRERO's gallery works like a
laboratory in direct contact with the public and this means he can suit the characters
to his clients and so he creates that link that is so vital to his success.
• The collectors then also become members of the Comitive and every year Marc
FERRERO sends them a membership card.
