ENABLE +10 KHz AND RF POWER OUTPUT INCREASE

Important Note:
All described modifications are only allowed, if the modified radio will be used by licensed
radio amateurs according to the applicable amateur radio regulations. It is not allowed to
use a modified radio within EU / R&TTE countries for any CB radio purpose. Every user is
responsible to use his radio according to the regulations, which apply for the purpose of
use.
Wichtiger Hinweis: Alle beschriebenen Einstellungen sind nur zulässig, wenn das
modifizierte Gerät von einem lizenzierten Funkamateur im Rahmen seiner
Lizenzbestimmungen auf Amateurfunkfrequenzen betrieben wird. Im Rahmen des CB Funks
darf ein modifiziertes Gerät nicht benutzt werden. Jeder Benutzer ist selbst dafür
verantwortlich, wenn er mit für ihn nicht zulässigen Einstellungen angetroffen wird.
-Turn off the radio and remove the power supply cable;
-Open the unit, unscrew 5 screw and remove lower cover (cover on speaker side);
-Locate the area of the radio where the modification will be done (see picture);
- Gerät ausschalten, Power Kabel unterbrechen, Gerät öffnen (Lautsprecherseite)
- Die im Bild markierte Stelle zeigt die Steckbrücke
-Move on the left the jumper (PAD605) as shown in the below picture:

With this modification the radio will work on 400 channels in 10 bands, from 25.615 MHz
to 30.105 MHz; the display will show the bands from A 01 (lower frequency) to L 40
(higher frequency).
This modification enables the +10 KHz function as well; to activate +10 KHz function press
the key shows in the below picture:
Nach dieser Modifikation arbeitet das Gerät im 400 Kanalbetrieb mit den Bandanzeigen A
01 bis L 40. Gleichzeitig aktiviert ist die + 10 kHz Funktion, die man auf Knopfdruck
erreicht:

-Locate the area of the radio where the modification will be done (see the circle in the
below picture); Der Bereich auf der Platine, wo die dazu nötigen Brücken sich befinden,
ist hier markiert:
-move the jumpers shown in the below picture in this way: Steckbrücken einstellen
-P106 OPEN - OFFEN;
-P119 OPEN - OFFEN;
-P104 CLOSE- Geschlossen.

It is possible to increase further the RF power (but also the TX distortion will increase) in
this way: -turn the trimmers shows in the below picture;
Man kann auch mit den Trimmpotis die Leistung einstellen (dabei erhöhen sich aber die
Verzerrungen):
-VR415 turn clockwise - auf Rechtsanschlag;
-VR414 turn clockwise - auf Rechtsanschlag
-VR105 turn anticlockwise - auf Linksanschlag
With these modifications the RF power output will be up to 20 Watt PEP (AM, FM and
SSB).
Mit diesen Modifikationen kann man Leistungswerte bis zu 20 Watt PEP (AM, FM, SSB)
erreichen.
