caracasanum, but the specimens found on Guadeloupe<br />
and St Vincent differ in pinna shape and size<br />
and consitute a distinct taxon.<br />

Habitat: common, terrestrial rather weedy fern of<br />
distrubed rainforests, roadsides, field edges and<br />
gardens, sometimes lithophytic on wet rocks.<br />
