<strong>Commission</strong>er Kenneth McClure was<br />
appointed to the <strong>Missouri</strong> <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Service</strong><br />
<strong>Commission</strong> by Governor John Ashcroft on<br />
January 3, 1990, to fill an unexpired renn.<br />
In Apri11991, Mr. McClure was reappointed<br />
to a fun six year term.<br />
On January 5, 1992, Mr. McClure was<br />
named Chairman of the <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Service</strong><br />
<strong>Commission</strong> by Governor Ashcroft, remaining<br />
in the capacity through May 3, <strong>1993</strong>.<br />
Currently he is serving as Vice-Chairman.<br />
Mr. McClure served as a budget analyst<br />
with the <strong>Missouri</strong> State Appropriations<br />
Committee from 1974 through 1976. From<br />
1977 until 1981, he was Staff Director of the<br />
<strong>Missouri</strong> Senate Appropriations Committee.<br />
In October 1981, he was appointed Deputy<br />
DirectorlAdministration of the <strong>Missouri</strong><br />
Department ofEconomic Development In<br />
that capacity, he had responsibility for the<br />
deparunent' s accounting, budget, personnel,<br />
data processing and unclaimed property<br />
functions as well as supervision of selected<br />
programmatic divisions.<br />
<strong>Commission</strong>er McClure serves as a<br />
member of the Communications Committee,<br />
the Committee on Utility Association<br />
Oversight and the Executive Committee of<br />
the National Association of Regulatory<br />
Utility <strong>Commission</strong>ers (NARUC). He also<br />
serves on the Federal-State Joint Conference<br />
<strong>Commission</strong> Resources<br />

Mr. McClure received his BA degree from<br />
Southwest <strong>Missouri</strong> State University in 1972<br />
and his MA degree from the University of<br />
<strong>Missouri</strong>-Columbia in 1974.<br />
Mr. McClure and his wife, Joey, have two<br />
children.<br />
<strong>Commission</strong>er MeCIure' s term expires on<br />
April 15, 1997.<br />
