$2.2 million rate case with <strong>PSC</strong>.<br />

<strong>PSC</strong> issues decision in <strong>Missouri</strong> Cities<br />
Water Company rate cases involving water<br />
and sewer operations. Water revenues were<br />
increased by approximately $93,740 and<br />
sewer revenues were increased by approximately<br />
$1,800.<br />
February 1<br />
<strong>PSC</strong> Staff files complaint against Southwestern<br />
Bell alleging that under traditional<br />
ratemaking methods. Southwestern Bell's<br />
current rates and charges produce excessive<br />
revenues totaling approximately $150<br />
million.<br />
February 5<br />
Gas <strong>Service</strong> files rate case witb <strong>Commission</strong><br />
seeking to increase natural gas revenues<br />
by approximately $20.8 million a<br />
year.<br />
March 18<br />
<strong>PSC</strong> approves request filed by Southwestern<br />
Bell to provide Caller 10.<br />

<strong>PSC</strong> approves agreement which authorizes<br />
St. Joseph Light & Power to increase<br />
natural gas revenues by approximately<br />
$275,000 a year. Company sought a rate<br />
increase of$330.000.<br />

<strong>PSC</strong> approves technical committee<br />
schedule for implementation of MCA and<br />
OCA calling plans in <strong>Missouri</strong>.<br />

<strong>Missouri</strong> <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Service</strong> <strong>Commission</strong> as<br />
<strong>Commission</strong>er replacing David Rauch whose<br />
term expired.<br />

Governor Mel Carnahan names Allan<br />
Mueller to serve as Chairman of tbe <strong>Missouri</strong><br />
<strong>PSC</strong>.<br />

<strong>PSC</strong> grants competitive status on Speed<br />
Calling 8 and Speed Calling 30 services<br />
offered by Southwestern Bell.<br />

<strong>PSC</strong> approves agreement which grants a<br />
$2.3 million rate increase to the <strong>Missouri</strong><br />
Pipeline Company.<br />
June 11<br />
<strong>PSC</strong> approves the sale of the Cuivre River<br />
Electric <strong>Service</strong> Company (CRESCO) to<br />
Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, Incorporated.<br />
June 18<br />
<strong>PSC</strong> approves non-unanimous agreement<br />
authorizing <strong>Missouri</strong> <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Service</strong> to<br />
increase electric revenues by approximately<br />
$4.9 million. A reheating in this case was<br />
granted by the <strong>Commission</strong> based upon a<br />
flling made by the OffIce of the <strong>Public</strong><br />
Counsel.<br />

<strong>PSC</strong> reaches decision which reduces the<br />
electric revenues of St. Joseph Light & Power<br />
by approximately $876,000. Company sought<br />
rate increase of $6.1 million.<br />
