Summary of the invention consists in that the device for treating the
senile cataract consists of two metal plates of a width of 2 mm,
connected between them at an angle of 135°, one of the plates with
a length of 30 mm, and the second one – of 7 mm. The method of
treating the senile cataract consists in that it is made an incision of
conjunctiva in the limb region at the level of 10.00…14.00 o’clock
and of cornea in the same region at the level of 11.00…13.00
o’clock, it is opened the anterior chamber, it is carried out the
anterior capsulorhexis at the level of 11.00 o’clock, it is removed
the nucleus and masses of lens, it is introduced 0,3 ml of sterile air
into the anterior chamber. Then it is introduced the device defined
in the first claim with the smallest plate into the anterior chamber,
namely onto the anterior surface of iris. Over the surface of said
plate it is slipped the artificial lens and it is implanted into the
anterior
chamber, afterwards the device is removed, it is sutured the cornea
and conjunctiva, it is administered in the subconjunctival space a
steroid preparation, an antibiotic and it is applied a monocular
aseptic dressing.
Esenţa invenţiei constă în aceea că dispozitivul pentru tratamentul
cataractei senile este format din două plăci metalice cu lăţimea de 2
mm, unite între ele sub un unghi de 135o, una din plăci cu lungimea
de 30 mm, iar a doua de 7 mm. Metoda de tratament al cataractei
senile constă în aceea că se efectuează o incizie a conjunctivei în
regiunea limbului la nivelul orei 10.00…14.00 şi a corneei în
aceeaşi regiune la nivelul orei 11.00…13.00, se deschide camera
anterioară, se efectuează capsulorexisul anterior la nivelul orei
11.00, se înlătură nucleul şi masele cristalinului, se introduc 0,3 ml
de aer steril în camera anterioară. Apoi se introduce dispozitivul
definit în revendicarea 1 cu placa mai mică în camera anterioară, şi
anume pe suprafaţa anterioară a irisului. Pe suprafaţa plăcii
menţionate se lunecă cristalinul artificial şi se implantează în
camera anterioară, după care dispozitivul se înlătură, se suturează
corneea şi conjunctiva, se administrează subconjunctival un
preparat steroid.
