Electromagnetic nonionogenic radiation comprise the<br />

electromagnetic field spectrum with a frequency between the<br />

extremly low frequency domain and UV radiation. In this<br />

project on intend to use electromagnetic waves from the<br />

microwaves domain to investigate biological structures both<br />

for fundamental research and diagnosis. The first application<br />

is the early detection of breast, bone and skin cancer using<br />

non-invasive methodes. Another application refers to the<br />

non-contact monitorization of some physiological parameters<br />

– cardio-respiratory activity for patients who have sufferd<br />

burns or premature babies; also the non-contact sleep apnea<br />

detection for adults patients and children or sleep study.<br />
