April 26. She was born in Canada.
Ms. Boyd is survived by her sister, Phyllis;
nephew, Jim Evans; and niece, Patricia
Bowman.

was held at L.I. Cremation Co. in West
Babylon.
Donald Carine
Donald C. Carine, 65, of Central Islip,
died on May 5. He was born in Queens.
Mr. Carine is survived by his wife,
Sandra; daughters, Erin and Amy; and sister,
Patricia Ostrofsky.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to
Overton Funeral Home in Islip. A funeral
Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s R.C.
Church in East Islip. Cremation was held
at L.I. Cremation Co. in West Babylon.
Grace Catanese
Grace Catanese, 97, of Sayville, died on
May 2. She was born in New York City.
Mrs. Catanese is survived by her daughters,
Lucille Massa and Marie; son, Joseph;
and sister, Rose.

Sandra DeStefano
Sandra DeStefano, 57, of East Northport,
died on May 2. She was born in Queens.
Mrs. DeStefano is survived by her husband,
Anthony; daughter, Lori Soto and
her husband, Hector; and granddaughters,
Evelyn and Cecelia Soto.

Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s R.C.
Church in Bay Shore. Interment was in
Northport Rural Cemetery.
Peter Dolci Sr.
Peter Dolci Sr., 86, of East Islip, died
on May 10. He was born in North Great
River.
Mr. Dolci is survived by his sons, Peter
Jr. and David; daughter, Joan Ramsey;
grandchildren, KellieAnn, Rebecca, Joseph
and Peter; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted

services were held at Emmanuel Episcopal
Church in Great River, followed by interment
in the parish cemetery.
Felicia Harz
Felicia A. Harz, 68, of Islip, died on May
9. She was born in Brooklyn.
Mrs. Harz is survived by her husband,
Solomon; daughters, Mary Beth Ruland,
Kathryn Cregg, Lori Mongelli and Marci
Napoli; son, William; and six grandchildren.

John Humann
John Paul Humann, 83, of Islip Terrace,
died on May 8. He was born in Brooklyn.
Mr. Humann is survived by his niece,
Mary Felice Skelly.

Florence Kaars
Florence Kaars, 93, of Bay Shore, died on
May 8. She was born in Bay Shore.
Ms. Kaars is survived by her son, George
Baker and his wife, Pat; daughter, June
Noraravian and her husband, Ed; brother,
Richard Guy; five grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.

Eleanor Lanieri
Eleanor Onalee Lanieri, 82, of Johnstown,
Pennsylvania, died on May 11. She was
born in Canton, New York.
Mrs. Lanieri is survived by her husband,
Frank; daughters, Debra Nickels, Tricia
Forchetti and Barbara; son, Michael; and
grandchildren, Robert Jr., Onalee, Hunter,
Jason and Brandon. She was predeceased
by her son, Frank Jr.

were held. Interment was in Pinelawn
Memorial Park.
Eileen Novellano
Eileen Novellano, 89, of Central Islip,
died on May 10. She was born in Queens.
Ms. Novellano is survived by her daughters,
Judith, Eileen, Anne and Joan; sons,
James, William, Wayne, Neal and Doug; 24
grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter,
Linda.

the Apostle R.C. Church in Islip Terrace.
Interment was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in
Bay Shore.
Salvatore Roncone
Salvatore Roncone, 81, of East Islip, died
on May 1. He was born in Brooklyn.
Mr. Roncone is survived by his wife,
Ninfa; sons, Joseph and Dominick; daughter,
Connie; sisters, Carmella and Margaret;
and 12 grandchildren.

Marijane Zulkofske
Marijane Zulkofske, 45, of Dandridge,

Schoeneman and Jessi; son, Donald
Schoeneman; brothers, Donald and Tim
Meddis, and John Meddis and his wife,
Stacey; and sister, Meg Meddis.
