Very good in illustrated wrappers . A 32-page priced listing, illustrated with photographs,
of the Southwest Arts & Crafts gallery’s offerings for 1930 with sections on
Chimayo blankets, Navajo rugs, silver jewelry, decorated knives, belts, baskets, pottery,
moccasins, beadwork, and juvenile cowboy outfits. The “Exquisite Black San Ildefonso
Pottery with dull black designs on glossy black backgrounds, by the renowned Maria,
Tonita, Anna and others,” is highlighted, at prices ranging from $8.00 for water jars,
about 12x9 in., to $3.00 for water jars, about 6x6 in. Scarce. $75.00

and 80 loosely inserted color plates, each mounted within a printed heavy card
stock frame. With the bookplate of the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum. Each
plate card stock mount is stamped on the back in red ink: George Walter Vincent Smith
Collection, Art Museum, Springfield, Massachusetts. The plates are complete and in fine
condition, in fine mounts with no markings except for the discreet stamps on the rear.
The brown cloth portfolio is in
very good condition, but with
some rubbing to the gilt title
lettering on the front panel, some
light staining and lacking the ties.
