BIOGRAPHY<br />

Marijan Palmović was born in 1963, obtained BA in philosophy and linguistics at the<br />

Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb. In 1993 he obtained his MA in logic<br />

(Quine’s criticism of modal predicate logic) at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb -<br />

where he was at that time research assistant. In 2001 he started to work in the Laboratory<br />

<strong>for</strong> Psycholinguistic Research, Department of Language and Speech Pathology, Faculty<br />

<strong>for</strong> Special Education and Rehabilitation, University of Zagreb. In 2003 he enrolled the<br />

doctoral study Language Communication and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University<br />

of Zagreb. His interests include language acquisition, language pathology and language<br />

processing. He spent study periods at the University of Vienna and Hungarian Academy<br />

of Science. Together with his colleague Jelena Kraljević he published a book<br />

Metodologija istraživanja dječjega jezika (Methodology of child language research) in<br />

2006. He takes part in lectures and seminars at the Department of Language and Speech<br />

Pathology at the University of Zagreb.<br />
