errors, the kind of error is actually relevant. Numerical results in which both groups<br />
would be ‘punished’ by low scores, but <strong>for</strong> different reasons, would be misleading.<br />
There<strong>for</strong>e, more descriptive scoring was adopted, which allowed <strong>for</strong> judging the kind of<br />
error committed by SLI child and which put SLI child in relation to the TLD child, a<br />
relation that could be lost if only raw numerical results were used.<br />
