Öveçoğlu et al. [28] studied the crystallisation of glasses in the system (1-x)TeO2-xLiCl<br />

(x = 0.4-0.6 mol. %). Fig. (8.20) illustrates one of these crystals, which are similar in<br />

shape to the snowflake shaped crystals seen in this study.<br />
