Explanation:
The aforesaid rates are based on wholesale price index (WPI) of the week ending on or
subsequent to 1 st January 2007,( 6 th Jan, 2008) which is 208.7.
6. Rate of fee for Bridges/ Tunnels as per new fee rules:-
Rate of fee for use of a structure or bypass (ROB’s, RUB’s, Bypasses, Tunnels etc.) as the

The aforesaid rates are based on wholesale price index (WPI) of the week
ending on or subsequent to 1 st January 2007, ( i.e. 6 th Jan, 2008) which is 208.7.
Two wheelers shall be charged 50% of the applicable fee for a car, provided a
service road or alternative route is available for use in lieu of the section of
National Highway.
For Bridges costing more than Rs 50.00 crores forming part of a corridor, rate of
fee of the bridge shall be included in the fee for the stretch.
