Most organizations now have Web sites that can be accessed for updating
and finding new data; this is an advantage over print information that
may date quickly. For clarity, the following resources are presented and
categorized separately, in Tables 1–9. The URL is provided, along with
a brief description of how the resource can be used to find CAM information
pertinent to heart disease. Almost all of these Web-based resources
are free and available without paid subscription. News and journal sites
usually require free registration, and the health-information portals usually
require paid subscription. This information is provided with the description.
Already familiar information on conventional cardiology professional
journals and professional associations has not been included.
