further experimental works may be needed to verify the validity of the<br />

correlation given by Eq. (119) at high pressures.<br />

V. 11 CONCLUSIONS<br />

Correlations for the droplet entrainment and carryover from a bubbling<br />

boiling pool by streaming gas have been developed based on a simple<br />

mechanistic model of entrainment in collaboration with experimental data.<br />

The analysis reveals that there are three regions of entrainment<br />

depending on the height above the pool surface. For each region the<br />

correlation for the entrainment amount has been developed<br />
