About Teluca 

Teluca distributes oxidative, direct and semi-permanent hair dyes, exclusive hair dye 

blends, color bases, stabilizers, chelating agents and ingredients from nature to customers 

worldwide as well as manufactures finished product including demi-permanent hair color 

powder, tonal lifting powder, peroxide developers and dust-free bleach and lightener. 

The company’s full range of services include concept and shade development, 

reformulation work (to continually help customers expand on and improve their current 

hair color lines and ensure EU approval), color matching and comprehensive education, 

training and support. As facilitators of color theory workshops, hair color chemistry 

seminars and lab training (both in-house and abroad), the company also provides customtailored 

training to clients to assist them in further becoming knowledgeable, self-sufficient 

formulators. 

Our two operating locations (New Jersey, USA and Ningbo, China) allow Teluca to service 

customers from both ends of the globe in all areas – manufacturing, quality control,

Demi-permanent color lasts about twice as long as semi-permanent; dyes have smaller molecules than those of 

semi-permanent so are reactive and able to partially penetrate the hair shaft. Color performs like permanent 

color, however, like semi-permanent dyes, demi-permanent color contains no ammonia and thus cannot 

lighten hair, only provides tone-on-tone color.
