LISA WHYBOURN 2013
CAREER:
• Lisa Whybourn began playing senior level tournaments in March 2006.
• She spent 2007 and 2008 competing predominantly at Futures level in Britain and stepped
up in 2009, qualifying for Shrewsbury’s $75k event and making the second round.
• In 2010, Lisa made a name for herself after reaching the third round of Wimbledon
qualifying which lifted her inside the world’s top 400 for the first time, reaching a high of
284 in August.
• Lisa won two doubles titles in 2011 at Izmir and Istanbul.
2012-13
• In 2012, Lisa has focussed on $10k Futures events, making two semi-finals in Sutton and
Antalya.
• Lisa also secured her third doubles victory along with partner Nicola Geuer in Bath,

Lisa is a big fan of Burnley FC.
