KEN SKUPSKI <strong>2013</strong><br />
CAREER:<br />
• Ken is one of GB’s top doubles players. After winning his first Futures title in 2004 in doubles,<br />
he went to the US on a tennis scholarship to study General Studies at Louisiana State<br />
University. He graduated in 2007, and has gone on to win 3 ATP doubles titles and 27 ITF<br />
doubles titles.<br />
• Won his only singles Futures title in 2008 Greece (gave up playing singles in<br />
• In 2009, Ken enjoyed one of the best wins of his career when he and partner Colin Fleming<br />
beat the world No.1 pairing of Bob and Mike Bryan at the Aegon Championships. He followed<br />
up this victory with titles in Metz (September 2009), St.Petersburg (2009) (both w/<br />
Fleming) and Marseille (2011) w/Haase.<br />
• He broke into the world’s top 50 for the first time in summer 2010 and in the same year<br />
made his Davis Cup debut against Lithuania (has played two ties, winning both w/Fleming)<br />
and represented England at the Commonwealth Games where he won silver in the men’s<br />
doubles and mixed doubles bronze<br />

• In 2012 won two ATP Challengers w/Delgado and made 3r of US Open for career-best GS<br />

• In <strong>2013</strong>, won two Futures titles with his younger brother Neal in Pozzuoli-ITA and Preston.<br />

PERSONAL:<br />
Father, Ken, is a police officer. Mother’s name is Mary. Younger brother Neal. Graduated from<br />
Louisiana State University in May 2007. NCAA Doubles finalist 2005 and Two-time Southeastern<br />
Conference Coaches Indoor Champion (only player in the history of the Southeastern Conference<br />
to win back-to-back titles). Fourth most successful player in the school’s history with 107 wins.<br />
Ken is a Liverpool FC fan, plays golf off a handicap of six and married his wife Hayley in April<br />
2011.<br />
