JAMIE DELGADO <strong>2013</strong><br />
CAREER:<br />
• Jamie has been playing professional tennis for 17 years during which time he has amassed<br />
17 ATP doubles Challenger titles (from 1996-2012).<br />
• He qualified as a singles player at Wimbledon on three occasions (1999, 2004-05) and<br />
received six wild cards in 1997, 2000-03 and 2006. Including his doubles appearances, he<br />
has played at Wimbledon during 17 consecutive years.<br />
• His best singles wins came when he won three Challenger events at Granada (1999), Belo<br />
Horizonte (1999) and Bristol (2001). Jamie made his Davis Cup debut in 1997 and has<br />
played four ties, most recently against Ukraine in September 2006, and he cites playing<br />
Andre Agassi in the World Group on Wimbledon centre court as one of his career highlights.<br />
• Now in his mid-thirties, he focuses on doubles.<br />

• 16 years after turning pro, he reached a career high ranking of 57.<br />
• Early in 2012 he teamed up with Ken Skupski, and the duo have won two ATP Challenger<br />
titles together in Bergamo and Rome (has also won three titles with Jamie Murray and five<br />
with Jonny Marray – all in 2011).<br />
PERSONAL:<br />
Jamie was born in Birmingham, bought up in Tenerife and moved to England aged 10… Is a<br />
Manchester United fan and has taken up salsa dancing.<br />
