',|3. Technical details of ESP to be installed as air pollution control system along with its<br />

adequacy. Details of provisions to be kept in ESP to ensure that in any case the air<br />

emission does not cross the GPCB norms including provision of standby field in the<br />

ESP, preventive maintenance, failure / tripping conhol system, guarantee from the ESP<br />

supplier, altemative anangements in case of the failure 1 tripping of lhe ESP etc.<br />

14. Technical details of Induction Furnace including its cooliog and interlocking systems<br />

alongwith drawing of the induction furnace along with its adequacy. Details of Air<br />

Pollulion <strong>Control</strong> Measures proposad for tnduction Furnace. Details of specific<br />

measures to ensure that emission from the lnduction Furnace will not escape from the<br />

furnace in form of fugitive emission bypassing the air pollution control system.<br />

15. Generation of waste gases and their utilization have to be set out.<br />

16. Detailed plen for prevention and control of fugitive emission I dusting at each and every<br />

stage of coal handling including unloading / loading at Kandala port, transPortation from<br />

poil to plant, unloading / loading / stacking / conveyance / iransfer at plant alongwith<br />

detailed specifications & schematic diagram of water sprinkler system arrangement.<br />

17. lmpact of the transport of raw material and finished product on the transporl system<br />

should be assessed and provided.<br />

18. Existing status of water quality, soit quality, noise level, flora, fauna etc. in the study<br />

area and impacts of the project expansion on ihe same along with mitigation measures.<br />

19. Details on hazardous / solid waste generation, handing, storage, utilization and<br />

disposal, for each type of waste. Copies of MOU / agreements done with actual<br />

consumers regarding utilization of fly ash, bottom ash and slag etc. should be included.<br />

20. Data on air emissions, wastewater generation and solid / hazardous waste generation<br />

and management for the existing plant should also be incorporated.<br />

21. Copies of membership certificate of Common Environmental lnfrastructure like TSDF, if<br />

any taken, should be incorporated.<br />

22. A detailed EMP including the protection and mitigation measures for impact on human<br />

health and environment as wetl as detailed monitoring plan and environmental<br />

management cell proposed for implementation and monitoring of EMP. The EMP should<br />

also include the concept of waste-minimisation, recycle/reuse/recover techniques,<br />

energy conservation, and natural resource conservation. Total capital cost and recurring<br />

cosuannum earmarked for environment pollution oontrol measures.<br />

23. Occupational health impacts on the workers and mitigation m€asures proposed to avoid<br />

the human health hazards along with the personal protective equipment to be provided<br />
