Following are our comments/suggestions/observations rcgarding project and EIA report. 1. Please give details of GPCB visit report and airlwater/solid waste sample analysis report for existing unit in last two years. Please give details of MoEF regional office visit report in last two years, if any. Whether company had been issued show cause notice / closure order/notice under Water Act 1974 or Air Act 1981 or Environment Protection Act 1986 since starting of existing unit? lf yes give details of it. Also what remedies had been taken for restarting operation? \Mether unit has submitted Environmental Audit Reports regularly to GPCB for existing plant? \y'y'hat were suggestions of Auditor in last two years report? \Men was Environmental Clearance applied for proposed production and what is date of Terms of Reference issued? €i. Please attach copy of Terms of Reference issued. 7'. why there are two options in Table 1.1 about proposed power plant? €1. What was process of aoquiring 85 acre land at the time of installation of first plant? €1. why so much additional land was acquired at the starting of plant? 10. Why coal/lignite based captive power plant has been selected when project proponent is weighing on sustainable development? Whether alternative fuel has been thought at planning stage? Please give details. 11. Please exact details on water consumption of current plant and proposed expansion. / 12. give detailed water lease balance diagram with water utilization in each application and its disposal. How many people U{ are working in existing production plant at Anjar and after proposed expansion? 14' Please justify 6 monitoring location for baseline monitoring for such large scale expansion. 15. lt is written that fly ash and iron sludge / gypsum will be sold to brick / cement manufacturer. \Mether any agreement with any of manufacturer has been done for ash selling? Please give copy of it. 16. Please give name of CPCB authorized recycler/trader to whom waste oil and other solid hazardous waste is given for existing unit. 17. Please provide detailed greenbelt development programme, in terms of type and no. of species, area and water requirement. | 18-)W many skilled and unskilled people 2, 3. zl. tt. from surrounding area will get employment in proposed expansion L--/project?
