world, taking shape before our very
eyes. What world am I talking about?
I’m talking about the new Age
expected to begin after a planetary
transformation on or before Dec. 21,
2012.
But in the days immediately
following Beckow and at least some of
the other contributors were wringing
their hands, wondering what had
really happened. They had followed
all the guided instructions. They had
stayed in a quiet place and meditated
during the fateful December 21st date
and although there were moments of
ecstasy, at the end of the day, they
weren’t quite sure that anything really
big had happened. In the days that
followed, posts ranged from the hopeful
to almost despairing rants against
galactic forces and angels that had
not followed through on the golden
promise.
I wish I had printed out these
postings, but I didn’t and they are
gone, not even archived as far as I
can tell. Instead, the messages on the
newly named site seem to be saying
that Ascension is truly coming, but
the time line had to be restructured.

A January 8th post entitled “Sanat
Kumara: Our Heartfelt Apologies to the
Disappointed,” for example, features
a message from Sanat, the planetary
logos and keeper of the universal laws.
Beckow’s communication with Sanat
occurred during his “An Hour with
an Angel” radio show on January 7th.
Beckow states: Sanat begins with a
heartfelt apology to those of us who feel
that the Company of Heaven let them
down. He says that a cry went up from
humanity to extend the process and the
Divine Mother granted an extension. I
don’t disbelieve that statement but it’ll
be a hard sell, I think. Ascension was
postponed in 2000, if memory serves
me, for much the same reason …
Oh dear, this is all beginning
to sound a lot like those Christian
ministers who keep moving up the date
of the end of the world! It’s a brighter,
more hopeful picture, however, and
there is some comfort in that.
The Power Path (www.thepowerpath.
com): All this brings me to the work of
José luis Stephens. Unlike those who
were so focused on the big December
21st date, Stephens’ view was and is
that December 21st, while defi nitely
a shifting point, is more realistically
seen as the beginning of a highly
transformative time period that extends
until 2071. During this extended time
period, according to Stephens, we will
see the rise of the feminine and this is a
good thing for our planet.
I checked out Stephen s’ website
to see if there had been any updates.

guatemala to study the matter, states:

that the end of the long count is not the
end of the world but rather a transition
point, a shamanic initiation if you will
… given the importance of the date
