European school and professional orientation: a necessity for all

The project provided the opportunity for students and teachers from different
countries to work together on educational and vocational guidance: a must for all.
The project aimed at the active participation of students and the collaboration of
teachers with the school management concerning pedagogical, administrative and
organisational responsibilities.
The project focused on the importance of preparing students for their future, to be
autonomous, sociable, and competent in their personal and professional lives now and
as adults. For young people with special needs or with difficulties of learning or
even adaptation the challenge is always superior. The partners focused on the active
participation of students in the project which addressed the issues of racism,
xenophobia, European citizenship, etc.
It is essential for the project partners to sensitise the students with regard to the
European dimension of Life Long Learning, professional orientation, the professions
and the job market. The activities were integrated into the regular activities of the
centres. Students were involved in all phases of the project and in the planning,
organization and evaluation of activities.
