Louisville Football Facilities Louisville Football Facilities The Trager Indoor Practice Facility is believed to be one of the largest in the nation. The 90,068 square foot facility has 85,440 square feet of playing surface with 5,168 square feet of building support, consisting of restroom facilities, offices and a lobby. The $8 million facility features a 120-yard FieldTurf field, 100-meter four-lane sprint track, pole vault and long jump pits, as well as, batting cages for both baseball and softball. Schnellenberger Football Complex Louisville’s commitment to its football program is evident by the Howard L. Schnellenberger Football Complex. One of the best in the country, the complex houses the coaching staff, training room, weight room, the Bell South Johnny Unitas Museum, recruiting lounge and the team’s state-of-the-art locker room. Last season, Nelligan Sports Marketing installed new video boards and scoreboards at a cost of approximately $2 million. The new board is three times as large as the old one. It has LED technology and has split screen and multiple video capability. Game clocks, locker room clocks and delay of game clocks were also added.
